Introduction

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking an appointment with Kobe Popek ("the Stylist") at Passions Beauty Studio, located at 410 Central Street, Warman, SK, or by using this website, you ("the Client") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

These Terms govern all services provided by Kobe Popek and form a legally binding agreement between the Stylist and the Client. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not proceed with booking.

These Terms apply to all bookings made in person, by phone, via third-party booking platforms (including Zenoti), through social media direct messages, or by any other means.

Scheduling

BOOKING & APPOINTMENTS

All appointments are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive an explicit booking confirmation via the booking platform, SMS, or email.

Consultations: For colour services, chemical treatments, or any significant style change, a consultation is strongly recommended prior to booking a full service. Consultation appointments can be arranged by contacting the salon directly. Consultations allow both Client and Stylist to agree on the desired outcome, timeline, and pricing before any chemical or colour services begin.

Booking confirmation: When you book an appointment, you are confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions. A booking represents a reservation of the Stylist's time specifically for you, and it is your responsibility to honour that time.

  • Appointments must be booked through the official booking system at passionsbeauty.zenoti.com or by contacting the salon directly at (306) 382-9707.
  • Same-day bookings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
  • It is the Client's responsibility to arrive on time, prepared, and ready for their scheduled service.
  • If you are unsure which service to book, please contact Kobe prior to booking to avoid any scheduling conflicts or additional charges on the day of service.

Cancellations

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that life happens. However, late cancellations directly impact the Stylist's livelihood and may prevent other clients from getting an appointment. We ask that you please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Required Notice

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for all cancellations or reschedules. This allows adequate time to offer the appointment slot to another client.

Cancellation Notice Given Outcome
24 hours or more in advance No charge. Appointment rescheduled or cancelled at no cost.
Less than 24 hours in advance A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booked service value may apply.
Same-day cancellation (under 4 hours) A cancellation fee of up to 75% of the booked service value may apply.
No-show (no contact made) Full service fee may be charged. See Section 5.

To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at (306) 382-9707 or by messaging @kobepopek.hairstylist on Instagram. Cancellations via the booking platform are also accepted where available.

Repeated cancellations — even those made with sufficient notice — may result in a deposit being required for future bookings, at the Stylist's discretion.

Punctuality

LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Out of respect for all clients and to maintain the salon's schedule, the following policy applies:

  • Up to 10 minutes late: The appointment will proceed as normal, though the time available for your service will be reduced accordingly. The full service fee applies.
  • 10–15 minutes late: We will do our best to accommodate you, but the service may need to be modified or shortened depending on what can be completed within the remaining time. The full service fee still applies.
  • More than 15 minutes late: The Stylist reserves the right to cancel the appointment and treat the booking as a late cancellation (see Section 3). A cancellation fee may apply. Where time allows and at the Stylist's sole discretion, an abbreviated service may be offered.

If you know you are going to be late, please contact the salon as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate you where we can.

Missed Appointments

NO-SHOW POLICY

A "no-show" is defined as failing to appear for your scheduled appointment without any prior notice. No-shows deprive the Stylist of income and prevent other clients from being served.

No-Show Fee

Clients who no-show without contact may be charged 100% of the scheduled service value. Future bookings may require full prepayment.

After a no-show, you may be contacted to settle any outstanding fee before a new appointment is booked. Clients with two or more no-shows on record may be declined future bookings at the Stylist's discretion.

We genuinely understand emergencies happen. If you have an urgent situation and cannot reach us in time, please contact us as soon as possible and we will handle things on a case-by-case basis with compassion and fairness.

Fees

PAYMENTS & PRICING

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes. Pricing is subject to change without notice and may vary based on hair length, texture, density, condition, or the complexity of the service requested.

  • Quotes are estimates only — the final price is determined at the time of service based on the actual work performed.
  • Additional charges may apply for hair that is significantly longer, thicker, or in a condition that requires extra time or product.
  • Where a consultation has been completed, any agreed pricing from that consultation will be honoured provided the service requested does not change.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, debit, and major credit cards. Please confirm payment options when booking.
  • Deposits may be required for certain bookings (e.g., colour services, long appointments, new clients, or clients with prior no-show history). Deposits are applied toward the final service cost.
  • Deposits are non-refundable if the cancellation policy is not met (see Section 3).

All prices listed on this website and at the salon are as current as possible, but pricing may be updated periodically without advance notice. The price confirmed at the time of your appointment is the price that applies.

Satisfaction

REFUNDS & REDO POLICY

Your satisfaction matters. If you are unhappy with your service, please speak up immediately — either during the appointment or as soon as possible after. Kobe takes pride in his craft and will always do his best to make things right.

Redo Window

Redo requests must be made within 7 days of the original appointment. Requests made after this window will not be eligible for a complimentary redo.

Complimentary redos are offered where the service delivered does not match what was agreed upon during the consultation, or where a technical error occurred. The following conditions apply:

  • The redo request must relate to the original service performed, not a change of mind after the fact.
  • Hair must not have been washed, treated, or altered by the Client or another stylist following the original appointment.
  • The Client must be available for a redo appointment within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Colour results that differ from expectations due to the Client's natural hair condition, prior colour history, or unrealistic expectations (discussed during consultation) are not eligible for a complimentary redo.

Refunds: Cash refunds are generally not provided for services that have been rendered. If a service was not delivered as agreed upon and a redo is not possible or desired, a partial credit or alternative resolution may be offered at the Stylist's discretion.

Expectations

SERVICE RESULTS & LIMITATIONS

Hair services — particularly colour and chemical treatments — involve natural variables that can affect results. The Stylist will always work to achieve the outcome discussed during the consultation, but cannot guarantee identical results to photos, references, or previous services performed by another stylist.

Factors that can affect results include:

  • Natural hair colour, porosity, texture, and density
  • Previous chemical treatments, box dye, or at-home colour applications
  • Overall hair health, damage, and moisture levels
  • Medications or hormonal changes that affect hair behaviour
  • The condition of the hair on the day of the appointment
  • The degree of lift or change required to achieve the desired result

Achieving a dramatic colour change (e.g., going from dark to light) often requires multiple sessions. The Stylist will advise on realistic timelines during the consultation, and the Client agrees not to hold the Stylist responsible for results that fall within the explained limitations of the service.

Existing damage: If your hair is in a fragile or over-processed state, the Stylist may recommend alternative services or decline to perform a chemical service that could cause further damage. The health of your hair always comes first.

Wellbeing

HEALTH, SAFETY & ALLERGIES

The health and safety of both the Client and the Stylist are paramount. Please disclose any relevant health information before your appointment, including:

  • Known allergies to hair products, chemicals, latex, fragrances, or preservatives
  • Skin conditions, scalp sensitivities, or open wounds on the scalp or neck
  • Any medications or treatments that may affect hair or skin
  • Pregnancy or recent surgery
  • Previous adverse reactions to hair colour or chemical treatments

Patch tests: For colour and chemical services, a patch (allergy) test is strongly recommended — especially for new clients, clients who have not had colour in over 12 months, or clients who have changed medications. Patch tests must be done at least 48 hours before the appointment. Please contact the salon to arrange a patch test.

Allergy Disclaimer

By proceeding with a colour or chemical service without a patch test, the Client accepts full responsibility for any allergic reactions that may occur. The Stylist cannot be held liable for reactions resulting from undisclosed sensitivities.

If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment (particularly with a contagious illness), please contact us to reschedule. Late cancellation fees will be waived in genuine illness situations — your health and the health of other salon guests and staff comes first.

The salon environment may contain chemical products, fragrances, and other substances common in professional hairstyling. If you have respiratory sensitivities, please advise us in advance.

Young Clients

CHILDREN IN THE SALON

Children are welcome at Passions Beauty Studio for their own appointments. For the safety of all guests and to maintain a focused salon environment, the following applies:

  • Children receiving a service must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian throughout the appointment.
  • Children who are not receiving a service should remain seated and supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
  • For the safety of children, please ensure they do not touch salon equipment, tools, or chemicals.
  • The Stylist or salon may ask that unsupervised or disruptive children wait in a designated area. The Stylist reserves the right to pause or discontinue a service if safety is a concern.

By bringing a child under the age of 18 to the salon, the parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the child's safety and behaviour during the visit.

Imagery

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA

Kobe Popek photographs completed styles to document his work, grow his portfolio, and promote his services on social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok.

By booking an appointment, you consent to photographs being taken of your hair and style for potential use on Kobe's professional social media accounts and portfolio.

  • Photos will focus on the hair and style — not identifying personal features — unless explicit consent is given.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform Kobe at the beginning of your appointment. Your preference will be fully respected, no questions asked.
  • Photos posted to social media will not be tagged with your name, location, or personal information without your express permission.
  • Photos already published will be removed upon written request, where reasonably possible.

Clients are welcome to photograph their own results for personal use or to share on their own accounts. If you tag Kobe or Passions Beauty Studio, please use accurate and positive representations of the service received.

Belongings

PERSONAL PROPERTY

While every care is taken to maintain a safe and professional environment, Kobe Popek and Passions Beauty Studio are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal property brought into the salon.

  • Please keep valuables with you or stored safely at all times.
  • Clothing: Please wear or bring a change of clothing if you are concerned about product contact. Salon capes are provided for all services, but the Stylist is not responsible for any product contact with clothing, accessories, or personal items.
  • Hair accessories, extensions, or pieces brought in by the Client for styling purposes are the Client's responsibility. The Stylist will take care when working with them but is not liable for any damage.

Any items left at the salon will be held for a reasonable period and then donated or discarded if unclaimed.

Respect

CONDUCT & RIGHT TO REFUSE

Passions Beauty Studio is a professional, inclusive, and welcoming space. All clients, staff, and visitors are expected to treat each other with dignity and respect at all times.

The Stylist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any Client who:

  • Is abusive, threatening, or disrespectful toward the Stylist or other salon staff or clients
  • Is under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
  • Has an active scalp infection, head lice, or a contagious skin condition
  • Arrives in a state of personal hygiene that makes it unreasonable to perform the service
  • Engages in harassment of any kind — verbal, physical, or otherwise
  • Repeatedly violates salon policies without resolution

In such cases, the Client will be asked to leave. A full service charge may still apply for time already spent, and future bookings may be denied.

We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable environment for everyone. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Your Data

PRIVACY & PERSONAL INFORMATION

When you book an appointment, contact us, or use our booking platform, we may collect personal information including your name, phone number, email address, and appointment history. This information is used solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and communicating about your appointments.

  • Your personal information will never be sold to third parties.
  • Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required to deliver services (e.g., the booking software provider) or as required by law.
  • You may request to view, update, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting us directly.
  • Booking platform data is subject to the privacy policy of Zenoti (the third-party booking system). Please review their privacy policy at zenoti.com/privacy-policy.

This website does not collect personal information beyond standard analytics (e.g., page visits) that may be captured automatically. No cookies are stored for advertising purposes.

Limitations

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kobe Popek and Passions Beauty Studio shall not be liable for:

  • Hair damage, breakage, or adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed prior chemical treatments, home colour, or pre-existing hair damage
  • Allergic reactions where a patch test was declined or where health information was not disclosed prior to the service
  • Results that differ from reference images or expectations not aligned with what was discussed during consultation
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property within the salon premises
  • Any consequential, indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from the use of services or this website

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter where limitation of liability is not permitted by law.

The Stylist operates with professional skill, care, and appropriate insurance. All services are performed in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Updates

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or salon policies. The most current version will always be available on this page with the "Last Updated" date noted at the top.

Continued use of this website or booking of services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify regular clients.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. We recommend checking back before each booking if you are a returning client.

Jurisdiction

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or from services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Saskatchewan. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes informally and in good faith before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
